This ebay listing has some solid close ups of the printing. Looks okay considering it was separated after it was painted; it definitely does have that photoshop filter look to it though.. The seps in the Lebowsky varnish photos do look a bit rougher than GitS. They might have had to cut back the colors to get the varnish layer in without rocking the costs.

Appreciated - not that I'm invested either way, but probably a good reference point for folks awaiting the Lebowski.

The print job for GITS was mediocre but that wasn't the printer's fault as the piece had already been completed at 300 dpi hence a couple of small areas of the print look pixelated.

TBL will be done at 600 dpi and extra pantones were added after the seps were completed in order to help it more closely resemble the jpeg.
