I love the concept for this mini-series featuring the wildlife of certain national parks, and the design is excellent. I'm sure the Yellowstone print will be fantastic with its wolves, bison, bears, etc.

As a regular at Grand Canyon National Park, I'm bummed that this print doesn't include one of the most epic animal conservation stories in the history of the world - the California Condor. In the late 80s there were 22 of these animals left in the world and they were all captured and put into a breeding program. Since the mid-90s they have been slowly re-released into the wild (and recaptured every year to check for lead poisoning). There are about 400 alive now, with about 200 of those in the wild. A dozen or so call the Grand Canyon home and can been seen rather consistently around the South Rim Visitor Center. Bummer that this special animal didn't make the cut. (The print also doesn't include the Kaibab Squirrel which is ONLY found at the Grand Canyon.)

IMO, it's a miss to not have them included. It's still a great print and will probably end up in my collection. :P

I'm sure they other prints in the series have already been created... I'm hoping there's a Zion print that has the California Condor.

Definitely. I haven't even visited this park yet, and I'm going to order this print--and then try to visit the park as soon as I can. I'm not familiar with the artist, but the style reminds me of Durieux. Like, when Durieux was awesome. :)
