Tickets were freebies. Said the sound was horrible and the band flat/dull.earlgreytoast wrote:Why would he walk out after half an hour? Sound was bad? Band was bad? Can't imagine he left because they were going to play too many songs.
I was joking about the set length. Props for them putting in the work/time, but who wants three hours of that even in their prime? They're a punchy/tight 90minute act imo.
just a foil for me today, thanks

Word. MSG has some sections that sound like absolute crap. But I'm sure they sounded better than my high school band Discression (sadly, not a typo) playing Paradise City for our Senior Follies. (Our 2nd song was Living After Midnight by Priest.)

When I was in college, one of the guys in our house would set an alarm at 8 for his class that didn't start until 1... except he didn't get out of bed until around noon. I'm not making that up, he would legit snooze for 4 hours before getting up to get ready.Jamilton wrote:I will never understand this mindset. Why torture yourself with alarms in the morning? Just set it for the time you need to get up and...you know...get up.rubberneck wrote:
An hour earlier and this is me....
I know it's not unusual but my brain doesn't accept it as anything but insanity.

Everyone who paid me got a print, that is long in the past man. It sucked that Bader took 3 months to get them to me, it sucked that my girl of 5 years left me during that time, and it sucked finding out that depression is a major beast to deal with. I barely left my house for 4 months. That was almost 10 years ago....I dealt with it, and came out the other side. My apologies to anyone who feels they were cheated, I am guilty of not getting them sent timely.Codeblue wrote:greasy wrote:Does this post count as random?
