took this beauty to my framer last night.
Im a little saddened, because the framing option I first chose/wanted was $1250! drymounting mental
stripped it back a little on the frame. It will be nice, but not perfect. ah well. I will share the result here next week when I pick it up.

Holy fudge! I've framed big prints/OGs larger than this with museum glass, double/triple mats, and higher end mouldings and the most I ever paid was $650-700. $1250 is pretty nuts...

Yeah, its getting a bit drymounting stupid really. Last few ive had framed, they’ve all increased in price from one to the next.
Remember this is aussie dollars, but its still a lot. $1250 right now is $900 USD.

My recent average would be about $500 AUD. It used to be 300ish.
I would consider changing framer, possibly, but the other two nearby are garbage. At least I know that these guys do it right.

Our currencies are similar right now and I'm not paying anywhere near that.

The issue with this print is that the length pushes you in to oversize territory if you use mats or leave any space with a float, so everything gets exponentially more expensive.
