Conor Harrington
Thinking about picking up one of Conor's books since I don't know if i'll ever be able to afford a print of his. It looks like there are 2 hardcovers out, Watch Your Palace Fall and then a self titled one. Does anyone own either of these? Which would you recommend grabbing?

Stupid for you to be selling a CH print, but not offer worldwide shipping. Which is why this went unsold

Especially considering most buyers aren't in the US, lol.turdferguson wrote:chevyav53 wrote:Morning Glory unsold on eBay at $585.... wonder if his upcoming releases won't see so many flippers

Zero demand for a 9"x12" over priced giclee/inkjet has NOTHING to do with demand for his much larger screen prints.chevyav53 wrote:Morning Glory unsold on eBay at $585.... wonder if his upcoming releases won't see so many flippers
Couldn't have said it better!fribhey wrote:Zero demand for a 9"x12" over priced giclee/inkjet has NOTHING to do with demand for his much larger screen prints.chevyav53 wrote:Morning Glory unsold on eBay at $585.... wonder if his upcoming releases won't see so many flippers
T.K.C.
Don't disagree and not my point, there are 7 or so on eBay and though this was a minor investment for flippers I only wonder how the next release will go.Jasper73 wrote:Couldn't have said it better!fribhey wrote:Zero demand for a 9"x12" over priced giclee/inkjet has NOTHING to do with demand for his much larger screen prints.chevyav53 wrote:Morning Glory unsold on eBay at $585.... wonder if his upcoming releases won't see so many flippers
Why do you seem to only care about flippers, print values and eBay sales? The 7 or so on eBay were bought by morons trying to make a buck without knowing anything about the art market or Conor Harrington. Same goes for those who continually try to flip faile.chevyav53 wrote:Don't disagree and not my point, there are 7 or so on eBay and though this was a minor investment for flippers I only wonder how the next release will go.Jasper73 wrote:Couldn't have said it better!fribhey wrote:Zero demand for a 9"x12" over priced giclee/inkjet has NOTHING to do with demand for his much larger screen prints.chevyav53 wrote:Morning Glory unsold on eBay at $585.... wonder if his upcoming releases won't see so many flippers
Who cares how the next print release goes. If you like the print then go for it, if not then don'... BUT stop worrying about what others do or don't do. Form your own opinion of the art instead of basing your opinion on how well it sells on eBay.
And by the way, if you are trying to use that small giclee to judge the demand of the next Harrington print release, or base his hype level like you did in another thread, then I don't think you really know anything about his work or his market which is why you got burned trying to flip this.
Wow went really deep on that one. About time someone shows they can post more than one word or one sentence posts such as luls or drymount etc... hence the reason for posing the question, to start a conversation. Unfortunately in forums these days you run into so many, pricks, who think they know it all and can't enjoy a simple conversation.fribhey wrote: Who cares how the next print release goes. But, I find it interesting and I care how the next print release goes as some of the works I've I been interested in were taken quickly then sit unflipped. Additionally many talk about flipping here and elsewhere is all so it gives me an idea. But thank you for all your wisdom captain obvious. I am not sure how'd I'd have faired without it.
