Certainly not as funny as the person who spent $800 for them. I like the Strangelove...just not $800 like. The Shining print is downright ugly.jmagee87 wrote:RambosRemodeler wrote:

Dang, went to lunch and missed the sale.
Anybody have pictures of the Strangelove Regular that aren't the .jpgs? Wondering how it looks in person.

Thanks, I thought I preferred the regular from the .jpgs, but the variant looks like it turned out real nice.rubberneck wrote:Some of both...

I'm leaning towards the variant because of color. Does the variant only use metallics in the solid silver background while the regular has gold metallics throughout the whole piece?rubberneck wrote:Some of both...
Since you've seen both in person, which do you prefer?

Sheesh.
Taking on a private behind the scenes commish for a group of fans is one thing but kinda cray for a reputable professional artist to be openly charging 8hundo a pop for an unlicensed work based on a super famous property.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

so if people are flipping it for that amount, if not higher. and the cost per print for the commission was also probably very spendy as well, why should he charge less than market price for these prints?
