Great book. Restarted it after reading 50 pages, his prose takes some getting used to and the book can be confusing at times. Awesome though. Read it for our annual family reunion book club last August, and just started Colson Whitehead's The Underground Railroad for this summer's book. We usually do that years Pulitzer + something "trashier" (Thorn Birds this year)ricv64 wrote:

Not a flattering portrait of Coppola . Jessica Hagedorns' book Dream Jungle also has a not too flattering portrayal of the filming of Apocalypse now

^^Close to 3/4 done (had to put 'er down for a minute) and I dig it. Smarter and more insightful than it seems without being precious. It'll matter how she ties it all up, but yeah...solid.

Any Kindle owners care to share experience?
I am looking at the PaperWhite, I've been reading on my Tablet but I think this may be a bit more enjoyable and easier on my eyes.
Amazon has it on sale now for $99
