Sold a showcard to a guy in Japan for $140. Shipped through the global shipping program. They received it, said "Excuse me. Product has dirt. I will return it so please give me a refund" and posted a pic of it (below) with the 'dirt' that wasn't there when I shipped it. I have the listing pics that show it with no dirt. It either came from the GSP folks or after it was opened. They already sent it back and posted a picture of the receipt. I had no returns accepted in my listing.
Recommended course of action? If I refuse a refund and get ebay involved can I get negative feedback? Somebody 'damaged' this and I'd rather not have to pay for it.

If you accept returns, a buyer can return an item for any reason, even if they change their mind about a purchase. ... Important: Even if you specify "no returns accepted," under the eBay Money Back Guarantee the buyer can still return an item if it doesn't match the listing description.RottenAtom wrote: I had no returns accepted in my listing.
That means nothing. Ebay buyer protection program trumps whatever you have. I've had this happen. You don't have to accept the refund. Call Ebay.

With GSP, just call eBay. You automatically get a refund and now you get to keep the item too.PLUSH wrote:If you accept returns, a buyer can return an item for any reason, even if they change their mind about a purchase. ...
