That's my one minor complaint about the UCS Snowspeeder, no tow cable.

The Black Lantern Batman is okay . . . the Damian Wayne one is also pretty cool.

The Lego store at Rockefeller Plaza is worth a visit. Just for the PAB wall alone.Lamarider wrote:Going to New York next week, is TRU in Manhattan and Target in Brooklyn the best places for checking out lego?
Sadly EVERYTHING in that store is marked up 10-15% over retail.
They do typically have small NY related exclusives though. Along the lines of yellow cab or Statue of Liberty polybag sets or NYC related magnets or keychains.

The only TRU left in Manhattan is the small one in the Manhattan mall, not worth a trip. I'd say the Brooklyn Targets aren't worth a trip unless you happen to be close by.edgar wrote:The Lego store at Rockefeller Plaza is worth a visit. Was my son's birthday on Sunday - he got some sets that he and I put together:
Marvel Super Heroes - Captain America Jet Pursuit
Marvel Super Heroes - Black Panther Pursuit
Ninjago - Dawn of Iron Doom (this one is really cool, my son wanted all four time blades which is why we landed on this set, as it's the only one that comes with all 4)
He also got three Mixels poly bags (all the same type), so we downloaded instructions off the main site and "Maxed" them.

My Target had all the Mixels guys on clearance at 30% off. Got three more sets of three for my son and put them together with him. They're super dorky, but he loves 'em.
Check your Walmarts! Lots of new (older) stuff on clearance today.
