Space Invader news..
Crazy how Invader pieces have sky rocketed what seems like overnight. In just the past two weeks i've received several pretty big offers for my Oh Alright piece, whereas I wasn't contacted once in the 6 years prior of owning it. Always curious as to what causes that to happen. Can almost see it unfolding in front of our eyes. I know he's had some big shows in Europe/over seas....maybe that's part of the reason.
Invader has been so quiet in recent times. I cant recall his last print release. It's great that these post cards have brought him back into the limelight. I ordered a set of cards, just to have something new from him. Wish he'd sell a new tile set or print. Seems like POW is done. Not a single Christmas time event or sale. wtf is up with that?

last one was that camel cigarette pack. before that were those 3 awful hong kong prints (kung fu, fireball and moped). last ones worth talking about were the aladdin sanes.

The Honk Kong 8-bit trio were terrible.
The release before Aladdin Sane was from the Japanese gallery the low res mona, still life and the other one. They looked like they were done on graphing paper. Wish i had held lo res Mona longer

Another rubik cubism detailed embossed print would be well received by fans.
Those recent ones were just too simplistic and dull.

I've got the Picard one from that batch....not sure what it would fetch now, but for a while it was selling at or a bit below cost. I really dig the Mona Lisa print from that same Honk Kong batch. I bet the Mona print would fetch a good amount now.technique wrote:Yeah all those terrible releases are really killing his aftermarket prices right now.
