I meant to share these a few months ago for someone who asked, ooops. Missing the third wall with avocado, turkey, grilled cheese, and tomato soup.

i wouldn't mind specific prequel portraits but not going to flip a table if he doesn't do them. he's got a potential fortune with any future SW portraits so i'm not ruling out he'll eventually do them down the line.

here's another question: is Mike Mitchell the most lucrative Mondo artist? i gotta believe he is considering all his open editions. what do you all think. lucrative as in revenue brought in.

He was recently spotted hopping into his bright banana yellow Lamborghini wearing diamond encrusted, yellow lensed sunglasses that would have made a coked out Elton John circa 1974 blush, so maybe...

mondo has brought in revenues well over 1 million in the last year based on Star Wars portraits alone. i'll do the official math later, but Leia brought in like $130k and that was one portrait and there are like 20 portraits

He was apparently heading over to Skywalker ranch to roll in bills with Jabba himself...

How about Mike do a glowing original first and only Anikin Skywalker (non prequel ani) portrait so it can go next to obi wan?

Do you mean him? I like that idea, but the unmasked Anakin might be better.

I agree. I like the idea of Vader with mask on, unmasked, and then ghost anakin. Would look sweet together.

I'm not an apologist for the prequels, I understand why people hate them. I've just never thought they were entirely bad and dismiss-able, personally.

They definitely required a huge amount of filter-ing for me to derive enjoyment from them and reconcile the important elements as being part of the SW universe though.

That said, so much of the design -characters, costume, props, environments etc.- from those films is amazing, if not quite as revolutionary as Ralph McQuarrie's designs from the original trilogy.

I'd really dig it if Mike did portraits of say, Amidala and Darth Maul.

Wouldn't want Mike to do them unless he felt compelled to do them though.

all I want is a Supreme Leader Snoke portrait please. He is the most interesting new character in SW by a wide margin imo
