The water looks so much more natural in the variant. Usually the reg has the "normal" color. Princess and the frog I will definitely get at such a nice price. Whalen did a nice job mixing his own style with an African style.

Water definitely looks more vibrant, but changing the color of that layer makes Moana's necklace, Maui's skirt, Hei Hei's feathers and the Kokomorra's (I'm sure I spelled that wrong) wraps all the wrong color. Whalen didn't do the Princess and the Frog, the artist is Josh Holtsclaw. I'm a fan of the vibrant blue on the variant but I like everything else about the reg
