In 1967, Mari Tepper made this poster. It's exactly 50 years old today, and the calendar days are the same. I'm going to hang this at home all year and remember the artists who started it all. (Probably, Alfonso Mucha started it with his beautiful women posters, but after him came Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelly, along with Victor Moscoso.
Mari Tepper didn't do the beautiful woman thing. She drew awkward people dancing. I like that too.
50 Years Since 1967, the golden age of rock posters.

I bought a poster directly from Lee Conklin in 2009 or 2010 at TRPS. Unfortunately, I moved and probably can't ever make it back to TRPS. I used to go every year when I lived in San Francisco.
I'm going to check out that psychedelic poster thread and see if I can add anything to it.
