It definitely is, but figured it made sense to post the details as it otherwise hadn't been noted in this thread.

The way they did the sale was super shady. Bank transfer only? Luls.

This. Plus not to mention shady to say they're having a pre-sale of only a few and then sell them all by pre-sale. IMO they screwed themselves out of the pre-drop hype, which always helps an artist's stock in the long run.

Yeah, don't necessarily agree with them selling the entire edition when they noted they were only selling approximately a third of the sets. However, offsetting that, I feel those that follow him had a better opportunity to acquire as compared to a well known drop if they reached out initially (I would expect a higher probability of the edition to reach the hands of those where they will make the walls, but maybe I'm mistaken). And they didn't only accept bank transfer, even though that was noted.

Nonetheless, I like the image and am sure the quality will look great in person.

Well.. I like it a lot and picked one up in jade.
It arrived yesterday and the print job is top notch as always with Hush stuff. Really amazing in person.

Both with this and the last release I payed by bank transfer, I have never had a problem with OneThirty3 and I don't know why you guys thinks it's shady ?

About them selling the hole edition by pre orders.. True, you shouldn't do that if you have announced there will be a online drop. But truth shall be that they get a couple of hundred email each time they have a release, and it seems that the most of the Hush releases don't go to flippers (I know it's also about the price tag), so over all I think they are doing a good job.

Cheers

Btw. the text reads:
"The 3 Editions of 50 are going on pre sale today and the next few days. Email. Info@Onethirty3.com . We selling 15 sets or 3 matching numbers of each colour way also. The remaining edition will be put online to purchase later this month."

…and they got so many email that there was non remaining.

That does seem odd - Rouge I, Rouge II, Trials & Errors were all available with multiple forms of payment...

bank transfers are perfect so that you can't go back to them just in case your print comes in drymounted.

And good luck getting your money back if they don't send ya anything or it gets lost in the mail. Who needs modern payment systems that offer any sort of protection anyway! I say we all go back to sending cash in envelopes to pay for everything. Who's with me?! Let's make payments to random strangers interesting again!
