I see what you're saying. But even Gorge wasn't treated like a real private commission. They let anyone join the group when it was announced and then posted sales links in the group. The two guys running the whole thing commissioned the series, I guess that's what I was trying to express.soam24 wrote:MooseThompson wrote:The entire series is a private commission. That's why they are being sold through a different website. From what I understand they reached out specifically for the Gorge, but said from the beginning that if it went well they wanted to do more.soam24 wrote: The Gorge one was a private commission, and he is branching out with a series. Note the band alignment (dmb)
But what I don't get, is how one can write "gorge amphitheater" on a print without it being official?
Only gorge was private.. everything else has been timed edition open to anyone.

I finally found this one on his site: "Standing on the Moon"
I picked up a few of these at a concert at Tanglewood this year.
Anyone even seen these around? I haven't at all! Seems with all his venue work someone would have picked up on this Tanglewood piece that is not "Venue series"
I like the piece, thoughts?

Searching high and low for Trip the Light Fantastic....prefer 2nd edition, but interested in both. Also love Memory Elixer, circa 2014. If anyone has one, I would love to make you a more than fair offer. Please message me. If you don't have one, and have a lead on someone that does, I appreciate that too. Many thanks, and hope to see more action in this thread.

FYI Posters4People just dropped 5 Ead's dreamtracks / EP prints, 5 total, individual or as set. Different foils. +1 main edition set.

Dig the print and the story behind it. Dig the gold for the 7 that want to cough up the $200 for it. Don't dig a 3 day timed edition or the price point of $75 due to that same fact.

Went for the gold, missed out. Did not think it was going to be a sell out that quick so used Paypal, oops.letstalkprints wrote:Dig the print and the story behind it. With only 7 not surprised the gold sold quick. And if I were going to buy the print I would invest the extra $125 because the gold with edition of only 7 will hold value better over timed edition. Like I said dig Ead's work but even with a 3 day timed edition I really don't know how many fans he has and how many will sell during that time period. Will be better for fans if it doesn't sell well and has lower edition, of course worse for Eads. Either way if you buy gotta love the image because I think this one if you're trying to resell you're gonna be trying just to break even. Ain't no James Jean.

There were 33 it was 7 layered but also a very low number and as you said for only an additional $125... yeah I checked eBay none were there. May keep an eye if someone tries.letstalkprints wrote:The seven gold like I said better value if have to sell should be able to easier especially over time.

Didn't pay enough attn to the email. 33 isn't bad gives people good chance but with that number I am surprised if they sold out quickly but once again if you're going to drop $75 might as well do another $125 for the seventh layer gold. Plus I bet a flipper or two got one. Not sure but think this is Ead's first print with the gold. I'll wait to see how many of the reg are sold cause will be easy after market buy and I've participated in too many of drops in Feb. Will also be interested to see if a gold pops up on the bay and for how much. You Bring Light In (edition of 36, original price $100) sold for a solid $428 on the bay recently.

Interesting coincidence two You Bring Light Into popped up WT here, one for $500, after my post about the print sale on the bay. Oops, sorry folks.
