Thanks for the pics, it looks really great. It's nice the image isn't lost without a backlight.

Perhaps the best thing Shaw has ever done, but damn those flips.

Combination of decent art but also a drought on flips has made this what it is.
Not a lot of 'Zomg Serious ROIs!' lately.

So...art isn't worth much since the Great Popping of 80s-90s Bubble?Dalek wrote:What a bunch of poster drymounting noobs inflating the bubble of the market. Anyone else remember the last art bubble of the 80s-90s? Probably not. Prints that you're overpaying for aren't gonna be worth fudge.
just a foil for me today, thanks
Nah it'll just happen again -- likely real soon. Just hope that everyone's buying art they actually enjoy, cause then it doesn't matter how much ya spent.fredo wrote:So...art isn't worth much since the Great Popping of 80s-90s Bubble?Dalek wrote:What a bunch of poster drymounting noobs inflating the bubble of the market. Yeah...I think it's more like micro-bubbles in this genre. People go batshit over individual pieces for a minute and then don't. Otherwise I don't see much inflation on the whole for the limited poster front (Doyle notwithstanding)- prints tend to find their reasonable supply/demand/price point over time.

So wait....is this poster see through? Can anyone take a pic of it in front of a light or something?
