Love it. Im actually thinking it would look better without the speech bubble. But its still great regardless. Really hope I can score a leftover on the drop. One of the only mondo's I've actually ever scored on was last years Nightmare on Elm St. from the frightmare, so I'm hoping i'll get lucky again!

Really really love the idea behind this. Such great execution despite the speech bubble, not the actual quote, but IMO it should be smaller, and have a box of what the caller says "They'll never make it in time." That's much scarier.

Yep the year of non Dface Lichtenstein homages. Emeks LA is the same way.
I drymounting love this. No Ghost face isn't a deal breaker either. Very nice work by Gary.

Yes. Didn't even notice there was no Ghostface. It is perfect.RambosRemodeler wrote:oldgreg wrote:This looks like a Lichtenstein to me, and I absolutely love it, text bubble and all

Quote's dead on. It's just from about 30 seconds after the kitchen scene:HenryGaleWasHere wrote:The quote is wrong

I have no issue with the artistic license though. Besides, "No, you listen again you little bitch. You hang up on me again I'll gut you like a fish. Understand?" is kind of long and aggressive for a quote bubble.
I also like that the selected quote isn't overtly Scream. It's much more subtle.
Another effective option (if 2 bubbles could work with the composition) would have been "Why do you want to know my name?" - "Cause I want to know who I'm looking at."
Regardless, love the Lichtenstein vibe. Now I just need somebody to help me get my hands on one.
I like it currently, but this would've been 100% better, IMOEvolution wrote:Another effective option (if 2 bubbles could work with the composition) would have been "Why do you want to know my name?" - "Cause I want to know who I'm looking at."
Agreed. The quote was a missed opportunity and my only gripe with this. I suppose we can assume the silhouette in the mirror is meant to be ghost face.matowest wrote:I like it currently, but this would've been 100% better, IMOEvolution wrote:Another effective option (if 2 bubbles could work with the composition) would have been "Why do you want to know my name?" - "Cause I want to know who I'm looking at."
Eh, looks like part of a family photo or something to meDario33 wrote:Agreed. The quote was a missed opportunity and my only gripe with this.
