This is "Fractal Sun", the artist is Thom Lyttle, and it dates from 1994

This is indeed Fractal Sun from Lyttle, although I would call him "producer" not "artist."

I have a number of these unsigned, two or three signed by Ken Kesey, several signed by Leary and possibly a few misc. additional signatures.

That is correct information. There was a run of 9.5 by 9.5 Thomas Lyttle "Fractal Suns" signed and numbered out of an edition of 250 by Ken Kesey. There also exists a run of 25 Signed/Numbered and "K-doodled" Artist Proofs by "Swashbuckler"

The High Priest of LSD-Dr. Timothy Leary also signed and numbered a run of 100 of Thomas Lyttle's 1994 "Fractal Suns"

More information can be found here, this is your guide from the "Godfather of Blotter Art" himself-another freedom fighter who beat the government at it's own game and came out clean in 2000 after a lengthy investigation.

Learn more here, and if you visit this site, it contains the most factual information on blotter art out there today.

Here is one of his designs here labeled as unknown it is in fact his own creation:
