Initially thought it was a mural, but it looks like a canvas. Probably has everything to do with the texture/collaged elements, but I wish they brought in that 50/50 split of red & cream with some sort of textured BG. Feels like we're just getting a mediocre version that COULD have been great. Puts more value in the OG I guess :roll:

I have to agree. the whole thing seem forced. like he had a half baked concept but didn't quite execute it to the extent of the idea ...so add some words to try and 'splain it.

Fairey's never really been the model of subtlety...'sides when you release like 30 prints a year you tend to go "lowest common denominator" in order for them to sell.

The one great thing about this new image is that it can be done with spray paint on the street and look dope. This is much more street, old school style!
