In process printing shot...
Received this today and gotta say that I'm pleasantly surprised. The black metallics on the Alien work quite well. Bravo!
Also, the title doesn't dominate the print as I thought that it would since it's in the middle of the print. It works well.

ISO: Stout - The Thing
That actually looks pretty cool.
This one is looking hard to beat.

Commission members can come out with yo pitchforks. I think this is a nice art print and not really a movie poster. The title treatment is interesting, but the credits and tagline seem forced and are at odds with the image, in my view.
Ruas is cool and this is a refreshing take, but it's not close to beating either Taylor Alien (and that's OK).

Been watching this progress. I am a huge fan of Ruas' style and this is superb. Don't really collect movie posters with title blocks but this is an exception. ISO. You can have your Stouts. Never got what was so great about Stouts art anyways it looks like paint by numbers with the wrong colors sold in the package.
You can eat from a golden spoon but the cornflakes will taste the same
