He explained his process as follows on FB:

it was not based on a full color painting. It was created first by hand, in black and white, then colored, one layer at a time in Photoshop. The color layers were digitally painted like watercolor, with a mix of opaques and transparents, painting positively, and negatively.

Compare it to screen image and it's pretty damn close. The sheer terror is still there. Nice work! :pint:

Creepy without the gore, TCM done right. Crazy, screen print that looks like a Giclee, can't wait to see what the actual printed posters look like.
