yeah I like this one. I'm gonna say interesting but state that I say so meaning interesting in a positive way. There is a certain rawness or something to it that I really like. Prefer the non-variant, it feels like the alien is more at one with the environment which kinda aids with those moments in the movie where it is sneaking around and such. The blood feels a bit more tacked on , I guess? Not sure why it doesn't gel with me as much other than it strikes me as a somewhat obvious addition.

I'd have to see it in person ,though really no chance of that. Really think I just like the pure grey-ness of the non variant.

I absolutely love it. It looks simple but the execution looks like so much work.

Of all the Alien prints out there, this one might be my favorite. Congrats to those involved!

Excellent except for the title which distracts from the piece. I feel that it could have been moved to the corner or somewhere less conspicuous.

Totally agree, for me its the color, the white just pops a bit much. I'm sure it'll look amazing in person.

ALIEN POSTER
October 16, 2014

"A while ago I was asked by a group of collectors to do a dream commission: a "Alien" screenprint poster.

As a massive fan of the first movie, I was obviously highly enthusiastic about doing it. The final version is still to be printed and as soon as I have it in my hand I will post a couple detail shots and also I will have some APs for sale (probably appearing in the "Goods" section of my website or through Eidolon Fine Arts).

Anyway, here's a bit of the process: I did around 7 sketches, my initial idea was to play around the concept of animal species and survival mixing the two "beasts" of the film - the cat and the xenomorph. The final version, however, was more straight forward so I pushed to get "weird" in other areas, completely redoing the logo and choosing a sort of unusual landscape format."

Yup. That's drymounting phenomenal.

Oof, at whichever dipshit in that group said no to that.
