Toyroom just doesn't know how to pack a print.

Tiny Showcase is using inadequate supplies for shipping art.

Tiny showcase is having trouble due to volume of shipments and poor mailman handeling plus they can at least gurantee a replacement

This. Toy Room drymounts up the prints when they are packing them. Tiny Showcase packs fine and USPS make origami out of the envelopes.

My beef with Tiny Showcase is they are mailing them out in these thin cardboard mailers that are too easy to bend. They should know this.

Meanwhile in the Toyroom Gallery shipping department..

lol....

In all fairness the mailers could be higher quality but I bet part of keeping the cost down on these is using these shipping methods and knowing its cheaper to replace a few open edition gicless than change shipping and packing .. dunno

Would you rather pay more for shipping or just have TS send you a free replacement?

Pay $2-3 more for shipping for higher quality packaging.. When they resend and have to pay postage again it hurts them

Turnaround time was great, print arrives damaged I wont complain. If it took them WEEEKS and weeks to send I might feel different.

ps they only had to ship thousands on a 1 release.

If they made a simple switch to the white coated mailers they would reduced damages. The white coating makes them much stiffer especially the corners. I think they cost like $.04 more. Definitely worth it.
