Pulled the trigger on a variant in the secondary wasnt that high a mark up. Just couldn't get behind the red and I dig this print otherwise.

For those who haven't seen it I'm concerned just at first glance with such deep red/black inks and menacing text, the print gives off the feel of a horror flick. The Town is gritty and I get the Boston red color choice, although Danger's dark brooding style elevates that red and black to a new level. I really like the variant though, going to try and pick that one up.
I totally agree with you. I picked up the reg and I'm just really hoping that when i see it in person it pops alot more than Danger's other prints. He does some great stuff, but his style only lends itself nicely to the horror genre. Regardless, from what i can see (and what he has said on the boards); it looks like there are some really great details on this print. I might not end up keeping it if i dont like it, but we shall see (or from the looks of the aftermarket, i might be stuck with it regardless  ).
I'm not sure it'll "pop", but Daniel's work is outstanding IMO. Other than Psycho, I don't think he's done any other horror titles per se - his Amelie, Royal Tenenbaums, Star Wars, Breaking Bad, GOT and Flight of The Conchords prints are all very much in his style - all carrying the same brooding feel that The Town does, but across a wide variety of genres. Like any artist of his calibre, he's able to take a project/license and make it uniquely his own. If you like the jpeg, I think when you see the print itself, you'll love it.

Variant is gone again. That was weird. Right when I was going to check outwith it too.

I wonder if I like the regular as much as I thought liked the variant..

I purchased this print from Dan's store and received an AP. Artist proof is not listed under options. No number was given on print, just signed AP and his name.

Just got around to opening this today and I must say the variant is pretty amazing in person. I'm shocked this has settled so low. I loved this movie so I guess that's why I had to pick it up.

Awesome job Mr. Danger!
