This place was so nice and calm in 2003. Went south with all those post-2003-newbies ... ( )

I worked my ass of for the money, and the print is going to someone who wanted it, in return for a print of equal value. I don't ever do it to make money. After this I'm done on this forum, seriously. Bunch of cry babies and kiss asses.

When stressed about getting a drop, just remember: it will decay into the same organic matter as inevitably as your rotting corpse no matter how much museum glass you put in front of it.

If I'm correct Krisjay has the record and it was quicker than that.

The only adult in that video is a black guy hanging out with the whitest 12 year olds on the planet.

In my years of collecting I've only sold one print, and traded two. That being said, it seems like a lot of people jump on the flippers/traders. I can't say much for the flippers, but on large drops if you check a "For Sale / Trade" section of a bigger print the day it drops, you will see recognizable forum names, not just random people ... last I remember was Moss's Bride, I grabbed (and traded) one, but on black Friday (drop day) it was being sold / traded by a lot of people many would see as great members of this community.

I usually don't go for something unless I really like it, but I do consider (and try) sometimes for things with the intention of a trade. For example, I missed it because of a work meeting, but I was going to try for a Geddes Acedia, because there are several pieces with a 6 month average around $1,000 that I just could never afford without a trade. I just see it as part of the process. However, my golden rule is never go for something you wouldn't otherwise want, because if you get stuck with it, you better like it. If I had landed a Geddes and couldn't trade it ... who cares, it's an amazing piece, but if you buy a MBW you hate with the sole intention of a sale/trade and get stuck with it ... sucks for you.
i flip therefore i am
