The reg glows in the dark (red eyes and flame thrower)...the variant does not.

My bad, I just couldn't seem to get mine to glow and wondered if it was the other version. I'll have to try it again and hope for better results.

The pink screen is the one with GID ink. Anything pink should glow - including the title. It's glorious to turn out the lights and see a big "The Thing" title block glowing back at you.

I think you're thinking of Bladerunner.


Bladerunner variant was supposed to have GID? That would have been very nice indeed.

5 color with metallic inks and the Red was supposed GID but according to Mondotees no GID powder was added to the ink due to an error

The GID isn't as vibrant as some other posters. Mine glows well, but nothing like The Bride or one of Cooper's.

If you want to see glow, check out JRD's Evil Dead 2. That thing glows like it is radioactive.
