Saw it coming, still bummed me out (especially with Dish threatening to pull the plug on AMC). Great episode though, loved the end with Glen and Don.

Yeah, you could tell pretty early on in this episode (even this season) that they were going "dark" with Lane. Maybe even a little too much, the way they kept piling it on.

The brand new E-Type not starting for Lane was great.

I was hoping that was a bit of irony and Lane would come to his senses..but alas he found another method :hanging:

I used to work at a Jag dealership, which was named Philpenn and where I got my handle from, and one dude with an old E-Type had a vanity plate that read "Two Weeks." It was in honor of the two weeks a year the car wasn't in the shop.

Pretty perfect spot for that emoticon also.

Yeah, if Lane would have not gone through with it after that it would have been pretty poetic, but Jaguar already saved the agency. It couldn't save Lane too...everyone gets one.

Good episode but kind of weak for a season finale.

I don't think they could have topped last week's episode in terms of gravitas, but that last scene with Don was pretty epic. He's been teetering at the edge of an abyss all season (empty elevator shaft?), and here you get to decide for yourself if he's untethered again. The Bond song was great too.

So yesterday I was freaking out as I went to put on Mad Men and AMC is no longer where it used to be. I have Dish and last week they were running ads on how Dish was getting rid of AMC, but I never thought in a million years they would do it before the Mad Men Season finale! So I was pretty pissed, went online and discovered that it wasn't actually gone yet, but Dish was so upset with those ads AMC ran that it moved the channel from 130 to 9610 (or something like that)! So luckily I was able to catch the show when it was on again last night. But if Dish is dropping AMC/IFC for real, that network is getting dropped like a bad habit.

Yeah, the one before should have been the season finale. But I did really like how they ended it with "You Only Live Twice" (from one of my favorite Bond movies), and that hint of Don going back to his old ways.

was the girl talking to Don at the Bar Megan's friend? looked kind of like her but I wasn't sure.
it would be interesting if she were trying to get back at Megan for stealing her idea to get the commercial part she wanted.

No, different women entirely. One of the many at Don's disposal...
