I posted these in the art comments thread but thought I'd share in the framed stuff to because I'm so happy with how they came out!

I sighed and muttered that very same thing under my breath as I typed 'Torneros' into the search bar

Just had this baby framed last week. Absolutely amazing. I wish he'd do a few more prints from time to time, although I know his OGs are amazing (saw them at OH WOW last sept).

I always defer to someone who's wearing a beater, regardless of what else he's wearing.

I would throttle a half dozen precious little kitties for an apartment with interior brick.

I love photographs of interior brick walls but I'm not sure I'd actually want that for myself. Some artwork definitely looks good up against it though.

edit: oh and that Parla looks really good.

Thanks guys. We knew where this print was going the moment we bought it. I'm trying to get another one to go on my wall in the kitchen (exposed too). I've grown to love simple black or white frames, and with this piece... the frame we felt was the right size, just enough to make it pop. Our landlord has made us promise to let him photograph it with all the art on the walls (prints and my stencils) before we leave, so he can use it to advertise the apartment whenever we decide to move out.

We love the brick wall, but it comes with it's own issues. It crumbles little pieces sometimes (because of the difference in temp between the inside and outside) which happens to almost any exposed brick wall, inside or out. Depending on the wall, you can have issues with insulation in the winter, so it's not all it's cracked up to be. But yes, you can hang almost anything on this wall... and it looks amazing.

For anyone from Chicago, April 7s did the frame the job and I highly recommend them.

I built this for my friend who is an artist herself. I'm not sure if I can let this go now...ha! Custom built frame by Signed and Numbered...Salt Lake City. Hand-painted to color match the print. Single dark blue mat.

Great Parla frame-up and very cool wall set-up 8)

And I so know what you mean about the crumbling and temperature problems... but hell, I guess it's worth it!?
