Good on ya for getting the 3D aspect of that Octopus piece in a photograph! I haven't seen anyone else who has succeeded in capturing that key element of it. Nice pics!

that piece was amazing! the depth she got is incredable.

Wow I really, really, really want to see that in person! What did it sell for? Also, what was the artist's name?

her name was Regan Rosburg. the day of the show i got the gallery about 10 am . regan and her friend eric? were outside and i had the pleasure of talking to them for about 2 hours. they were both super nice. we were talkin music, art and shows we've been to and good times. i told her about the forum so hopefully she will be on here soon.

Last time we did that for Esao, so many complained we did it this way. Been doing this 7 years. Not exactly a newbie. Classic.

Can't win here sometimes. :hanging:

honestly i think everything has handled perfectly for this drop. the ticket method was awesome, my friends and i were able to get our tickets then have lunch and went back later to enjoy the show and pick up the print before we left. you're going to get complaints on here in regards to online drops regardless how you handle it, regardless if a site lags or hiccups it's still a fair way to do it because everyone has an equal chance at the drop. also liked how you gave a specified time for the drop and save everyone the trouble of sitting in front of the computer for hours only to miss out. imo thinkspace did everything they could to make this as customer friendly as possible, huge props!

There is no good/correct way to sell a meager 20 Horkeys publicly. Thinkspace did just fine with what they had. I wasn't fast enough but others were...them's the breaks. I was going to use it as trade-bait towards another older Horkey that I like much more anyway, so I can't say I'm at any loss...

The fact they managed to sell 20 Horkeys without either their site falling down completely or a single oversell while using paypal buttons impresses me no end.

That piece is just mind blowing how much depth is in it. Thanks for the pics and so far I would say this is easily show of the year halfway through.

That piece needs to be seen in person. Appreciate the pictures for sure, but I couldn't understand what I was looking at until I saw it at the gallery.
