What's your problem?
how about:
4. having an open (<< important) edition and just giving people the change to get their print?

Sure if he sells some more he gets more money, but that seems fair.

I for one had issues with the cart, I contacted Nakatomi and we solved it, so maybe there where other people with the same issues so they decided to be open a little longer to solve those problems.

It's like running to the store, your late, but the people are nice enough to help you even after closing hours.

Y'know, a fair number of artists still read and post on this site including (thankfully) Tim Doyle. If you have questions about this oversize release you can step up and PM him directly, rather than kvetch about his motives. His EB username is alexfugazi.

The idea that all of a sudden Tim has sold out and this is a money grab is pretty offensive, imo. Alex has been doing this for a long time and, imo, is one of the most collector-friendly guys out there. I can't remember the last time I ordered from him and didn't get an extra handbill or something cool.

Rant over. I grabbed one of these prints and am looking forward to seeing it in person. The rain effect on a print this size should be amazing.

No problem obviously since I purchased a print. I apologize for offending your delicate sense of art decorum. I'm sure you are correct and the edition remained open to allow those with issues to get their print.

Apologies and sarcasm don't go well together... Anyhow, you don't need to apologize to me.

Enjoy the art of Tim Doyle!

cheers
