Ray has missed the last 6 games and this is his second stint with the ankle injury also he was a last minute scratch be the knicks. Congrats to the celtics for winninv the Atlantic division after a bad first half of the season.

What in the world was Artest thinking throwing that elbow? I wouldn't be surprised if he is suspended for the first round of playoffs.

I had to wiki it up to confirm to myself that it was Artest. Given his past history, I'd be less than shocked to hear that his year is over, regardless of how far/long the Lakers do or don't play... Given the NBA's rules for returns from concussions, you just cost OKC a solid player for at least a week, if not longer. And that elbow was no celebratory fluke...

He will get 5 to 8 games and if he gets closer to 8 the lakers will tank some first round games (presumably against the nuggets) to give him extra days to come back and play against OKC

That elbow was insane! It almost looked like he(World Peace) had no idea who he was even throwing it to. Just a dirty player all around. It would of been awesome if Kobe was on the receiving end :lol:
