So if I understand correctly buying a ticket means a donation of $10 to EB. And any additional charge to the winner will be the cost of insurance & shipping[which should include material as well because that aint cheap when it's done correctly & Corey knows how to pack & protect a framed print] above $200 & paid to peacedog, Corey of Furthur Frames.

Just a question about the tickets from previous raffles... Were the funds from that considered a donation to EB and would have given us a donation badge?

20% of the framing cost is going to eb as a donation. This will be going up to 25% after the this one and the Jedi which is waiting for completion on an older invoice. Shipping crushed us on the Star Wars pieces at $185. The fact that Empire didn't have to ship out we kind of broke even. We've allowed for $200 on shipping for the following pieces of the same size. If it's only $150, the difference will be donated to eb. The print cost is added in and goes to Clem99 to pay for the print framed. Prints have been very modestly prices for what they are. PayPal fees are also added in, so DO NOT pay as a gift. They've been hassling me about it.

When first approached about doing these raffle pieces I made it clear to Clem99 that I couldn't afford to do this for free. I am giving my highest personal discount to eb as a donation and we're about to push over that line. As best I can tell, Clem99 is making nothing on this venture save personal gratification of seeing some great prints framed to the teeth. I have also made it clear that if this feels shady, I'm out. I'm not here to jeopardize my company or what we do. This goes for any aftermarket shenanigans as well. Everybody involved so far has been really cool and coming from the perspective of bettering the scene of which we are all a part, and that vibe needs to be maintained.

That all said, to Clem99. He's made it possible to get some really cool framed pieces out there with a bunch more to come.

Good work all round guys. I know there are a heap of people here who really appreciate the great work you guys are all doing. I know i do and will certainly be happy to keep entering the lotteries with a chance to win some great art framed by one of the best. If the raffle has to be upped to $15 to offset any framing costs etc and to enable Peacedog to run a moderately profitable awesome framing business, i for one would be happy to pay a bit extra. but that just my $0.02c Keep up the great work all. :pint:

Peacedog, don't know of maybe you mistook what I was asking, or if you were responding to something else. I was just curious about the badge, I could honestly care less if the raffle funds were used to buy hookers and blow, just so long as if I won I got the bad ass print that was in the raffle, framed like a mutha fucka from you! :)

Just a little clarification, after the costing of the framing and shipping, plus the donation to EB, Any profit margin is purely re invested back into more prints, my role is pretty much to generate interest to keep the concept flowing along, hence i pick and choose prints i feel will have appeal, and obviously corey value adds to give it the WOW factor, thus far posters have been kindly donated but the posters have been given a dollar value in the process, the donators of the prints have been fully informed of this as well, i am not sure of the exact order for the next frame ups, but posters in the roster are the following few

thus far i feel the prints have been good for the project, so its rolling along quite nicely at the moment, but my aim to eventually acquire some older more difficult ISO which obviously have to be tracked down, hence a dollar value is also required, so there is a certain amount of work in progress behind the scenes, at the request of corey, and some of you may have caught on that it appears EB ashton @ brampton framing in the UK will be coming on board in the future, so there will be some european based raffles, any further questions, get in touch

Nobody is pissing off Peacedog. I'm just clarifying what's going on here and why.

I honestly don't know how any of that stuff works. I guess I'm making a donation on the raffle's behalf and never really concerned myself with the badges. We don't need no stinking badges... :D

And the correct answer is dog food and diapers. Picture framing isn't as glamorous as it is in the movies.
