if you want to talk about how awesome CITW was, in a spoiler rich enviroment, this is the place.

If you haven't seen the movie do yourself a favor and turn back now, its better to go in fresh.

I think my favorite part might have been the unicorn stabbing that guy multiple times with its horn.

Not sure I'd ever get to type that about any movie, much less THIS movie. :notworthy:

My favourite part was the end credits. Far better than any other part of that picture, but what do I know.

Do not allow my particular taste influence you though; by all means, go and watch it.

Word.
I just asked because I talked to someone about it and they said "oh yeah, I saw that movie like 2 years ago. Whats the big deal? It was bad." Because of the purposefully generic title, I think the public is easily confusing it with other flicks like Cabin Fever.

Anyhow, I highly recommend it. For me, it worked as a great deconstruction of the horror genre and mixed horror and comedy in the same vein of Drag Me to Hell, Shaun of the Dead, Evil Dead 2, etc.
But hey, not everyone likes the same things! 8)

I thought it had some really great death scenes during the creature free for all. I thought the group in the masks was pretty creepy

Yeah... I'm sorta in love with this movie. I thought I screwed myself a bit going in totally spoiler-free, since at the back of my head I was still wondering what the big deal could possibly be, and then it started in the office and I sorta jumped to "Ah, doing the Truman Show thing with horror movies, OK, I can dig that", but then things just got weird... So great. A complaint could be made that it's sorta a generic zombie movie for part of the way, but that would be missing the point pretty much entirely. It's been a while since I've been this excited following a midnight screening of something, but this one's something special. Really glad I shelled out for the Mondo poster (which is going on the wall as we speak, even before I crawl into bed).

My favorite part was the purge scene. As soon as those elevators all dinged for the first time, it was like a horror fan's wet dream. In a good way.

the ending.

I've heard someone ask for a better Wizard bedhind the curtain. If Weaver was the "the director" were the evil Gods "the producers"? Or the studios? The sacrifice was to complete a cookie cutter genre flick that the greedy, clueless, evil studios want once a year. I couldn't ask for a more fitting wizard. I am delirious at this point and probably looking to deep into it.

The 3rd act was FANTASTIC. Everyone in the auditorium was cheering!

:P

Saw Cabin again tonight and it was just as fun the second time around. Got to pay attention to all the little flourishes throughout.
The unicorn impalement is still my favorite kill by far.
