Has anyone framed their Akira Variant? I got one this weekend and am looking for some inspiration. :pint: Thanks!

crappy pic, but here's one of my stouts.keeping it simple. It's the first time I used antireflex plexi - don't like it. It looks really cheap and I don't like the distraction of the light. I'll upgrade this with UV glas when I have the funds.

Probably the classiest SW frameup I've seen yet. The variant color scheme works well with simplicity. :)

Thanks for posting. This confirms my suspicion I would prefer white mats/black frame with white prints.

i don't like the antiglare stuff either. Had my LTROI Quad in a Hollywood poster frame with it. Just ugly. Rather have a glare at certain times of the day and lighting. But once you go museum glass . . . who baby.

Is the paper on that beige or white? The two above pics differ to me.

It's an off-white. Somewhere in between white and beige.

Anti-glare can work for the right piece. I have 6 Moss roadshow prints, all with anti-glare, they look great, it goes with the feel and texture of the prints. However, I would never use the stuff with a stout!

I love UV non-glare plexi, but that's mostly because I'm terrified of frames falling off the wall. No I don't live in earthquake country, but I've had two framed prints fall off the wall in 2 years. Ruined the frames and dinged up the prints, but thankfully they weren't anything valuable. For my huge 24x36 prints, I like the peace of mind plexi gives in reduced weight. The non-glare has never bothered me, honestly.
