would any of you guys mind doing me a favor and pick one of these up for me ? I'll send over something shiny and cover all costs of course. We can't get those over here (UK). A friend worked on the effects team for this movie and would love one of the prints. Cheers !

I'll see if I can snag extras at the showing tonight. Actually, I'm halfway considering just grabbing the print(s) and leaving before the show, cause I turn into a pumpkin at midnight. Paying $14 for a print isn't that bad of a deal. ;)

Movie is getting poor reviews.

Not so much a bad movie as an opportunity wasted...

Is this actually a print or a poster?

It's both a print and a poster, since they are essentially the same thing - it's just a lithograph print, not a screen print.

Asked the manager if there were any extras after the film tonight, and he said he had already "thrown all the extras away." Either he's an idiot, or I call bullshit. The showing wasn't even half-full; he's got a pile of these things in his car right now.

The box was still 2/3rds full when I saw it tonight. The lady even asked me how many I wanted. I grabbed 2 Gavatron, so I could help ya out. Let me see how much shipping would be. Shouldn't be too much, as I already have tubes.

Also.... Saw it in IMAX 3D, and I really enjoyed the movie. Definitely worth seeing for any sci-fi fan.

Glad someone could help Gav out. :) I also saw it in 3D -- first 3D I'd tried since getting LASIK surgery. I still get a headache from the glasses, but at least now I can actually see the 3D effect. It was an ok movie, IMO. A bit ham-handed at times, but what do you expect from Disney. :)

Personally thought it was a highly entertaining film that sort of stayed true to Burrough's original concoction. Tried to get more than one print but ticket dude claimed there was a strict "one per ticket holder" enforcement policy.
