Removing skid marks from a print - Tightly rolled

I recently purchased a print and it unfortunately was rolled with no craft paper and was rolled extremely tight. Due to this, the print now has some ink transfer (skid marks) on the face of the print. What is the best way to remove or care for these? I used a kneaded eraser on one, to test it, and for the most part it removed it.
Any suggestions?

I have not. What is it? I see a cleaning pad. I assume you lightly rub it across the print?
Some of the marks are deeper than others and potentially permanent.

Permanent skid marks. Sounds ugly.

The ones that are potentially bad are the ones in the GID. I think it's cause GID ink tends to be thicker and therefore its almost like it's scrapped into it.

I would believe the ink transfered from this print.
The print was rolled in a 1 1/2" tube. Thankfully, it wasn't rolled the gorilla hands way. I would believe they rolled it to maybe a 2-3" roll and then used the method of sticking your fingers on the inside (that sounds horribly dirty, especially with the above references) and rolling it tighter. The backside of the print also has a good amount of ink transfer.

For sure. Lucked out, if you want to call it that.
Looks like John at Poster Mountain is going to give it an attempt. Thanks for the help.
