I think that the variant is the uncut. Otherwise (since the 3 "regular" ones are 18x24 each), you'd have a 54x24 print - not really an easy or standard size to screen. The variant/uncut was listed in the email at 16" wide and 36" long - a realistic single printing...

the different background colors amongst the three prints in the reg. set sort of bother me.

I actually liked the different background colors. It gives separation to the three films since the background stuff isn't the main focal point and then the Delorian brings it all together.

^ Agreed. I prefer the different colors of the reg to the uniform color of the var.
