Its Arnold's non-gun print. Basically a noggin and a huge head of shoulders.

The print looks AWESOME. Hope I can score one. I like the hidden quote in the print.

funny. I just caught a screening of it last night in the cinema. Pure magic seeing it in the big screen. Was also thinking we are in serious lack of posters for it.karza wrote:Now that you have made a steller Preditor print I think its time to move on to a subject that we have all been waiting a long time to get.

Was goofing around and experimenting a bit tonight. Might do that Alien print, but for one night I tried some experimenting with different film. Not sure if I'll keep working on it, I might make one with the guy's faces instead of full shots because of the narrow space. Or maybe I'll just move on. I'll see what I feel bout it tomorrow
Also tried it in red to tone down that high contrast.

Wanda: I can't stand people. I hate them. Do you hate them?
Henry: No, but I seem to feel better when they're not around.

I concur. Great film (as are all of Kurosawa's). The full images in that style look good.meskell wrote:don't move on. keep working. white > red

The 7 Samurai print looks great..I'd be happy with either color scheme
Thats AWesome
My suggestion would be take the 2 & 4th slash and flip horizontal to see what kind of balance it lends to the piece.

I would do it as a two color on red paper. Black and white ink. The scenes within the black streaks should have white details and the scenes within the red streaks should have white details with black outlines.

Thanks guys. good suggestions all around. Okay, I think I can go back and work on this some more. I'm not quite as happy with some of the samurai entry as the others. I'll change em and finesse the others a bit. I'll try that two color thing too, halftone, to see how it'll look.
