*serious question

well... actually, in the last year they've gone from $800 down to $556.33....

C'mon, drop in price already! Image What if a bunch of us all email them some lowball offers? Who's with me? :tumbleweed:

not giving up! there has to be one of these out there for sale. There were two of the large size editions done in the 2000's. one was a run of 250 and the other, 200. They have to be out there somewhere!!!

Hey Gunter,
If you find these, there will be more than one, so let me know.

I had no idea Sharp passed away. Looks like the 2011 giclee is still for sale (http://www.martin-sharp.com/index.html), but now it's a posthumous stamp as opposed to the signature affixed to the back.

fair enough. I was just saying I had no idea Martin Sharp passed away recently. I have this print. It's pretty impressive in person. Not 3'x3'x, but 700mm x 950mm, which ain't tiny (I'm not doing the math).

Very appealing, good color mix, I have a warm fuzzy impression. I like the psychadelic touch to it, Great work!

A noob who likes a colorized version one of the most iconic photographs in rock history...

Photographer = Linda Eastman of the Eastman/Kodak dynasty and at the time future Linda McCartney
Subject = Jimi Hendrix
Poster Artist = Martin Sharp = British/Australian 60's psychedelic image master

whoda thunk it? Welcome to EB, mitat :D
