Funny, someone mentioned Jayne Mansfield's crash to me like a month ago. No insight, but some variations from the lichtenstein original match up. For example, the color of the car changed from red to silver, plus the d*face version has wing windows, which were not in the lichtenstein version but would've been on the electra Mansfield died in...of course that could just be d*face being cute..."wing" windows and all. In any event, interesting theory.

Arrived in the US last week. The inks have a great sheen to them.

Got mine today, tube was crushed in the middle, big creases all over the print.
:hanging:

Also, WTF is up with wrapping prints in just tissue paper? Especially when it's not even long enough to cover the entire print, so the edge is just left to rub against the tube?

Contact them, they will surely replace it.
Sorry to hear that Henry...do you like the look of the print at least?

amazing how some artists get called out for appropriation - others, not so much.

For me, there's a big diff between this and taking a photo and changing the color/texture.

Also, uh, bear in mind that the Lichtenstein wasn't exactly original with him.

Yeah, emailed them, hope there's a replacement because I do dig the print. It looks nice, very glossy.

When was the online drop pf 50 prints? I saw one person mention missing the online drop, but i never saw any news on it. I know it was to be unannounced, but had seen nothing on it, even mentioning that it had happened

I was lucky enough to get one online when they were randomly sold. It's amazing! The colors are bold and crisp. Extremely high quality piece.
