As much as I'm a fanatic for Chuck Sperry & The Odyssey is a beautiful print, Walden is my favorite from the Req'd Reading show. As much as I love Sperry's Miller, Walden has my POTY vote. It's that good. And hard to believe it's a silkscreen. It's like I'm there w/Thoreau. Just an incredible piece of artwork.
Someone here pooh poohed the idea of a book themed poster show & I'm telling you there were many examples of some damn nice artwork:Walden, The Odyssey, Art of War, Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, Cthuhuhu(?), actually both Bertmer's, Pinocchio, Mody DIck, Origin of Species, The Stranger.
Moby Dick Variant unavailable from G88 for some unknown reason, they just didn't arrive in time. They may still get them but won't have them for Saturday's(041611) release, according to Jensen.

They're a Band Beyond Description, like Jehovah's Favorite Choir
The competition was fierce, but I'm going to have to give this my vote for best in show. After showing my wife the stack of prints I got for myself and others when I got home, this was her favorite as well.
When you first see it from a distance, you don't realize it's a screen print. If you ever want to see a piece that pushes the boundaries of what can be achieved with this method of printing, here's a great example.

This print is gorgeous in person. Jeff is really rising in the poster world. I'm psyched to see what he does in the future!
