AP versions of prints

Hello! How do you know if the print is a legit print of an AP version? Does it have to say AP? If the print is just signed with no AP marking and is not numbered, can it still be an AP version? Particularly:

From all the APs I've seen they all have AP on them. Some even have a number, i.e. x/9 AP.
