I recently had this discussion with someone else and it might be worth mentioning to the entire board (meaning this is not directed specifically at you Sunshine_Bob)...
If you want your submissions approved quickly, EVERYONE needs to follow the guidelines set out herehttp://expressobeans.com/wiki/index.php ... s_database
herehttp://expressobeans.com/wiki/index.php ... rt_Entries
and herehttp://expressobeans.com/wiki/index.php ... Guidelines
Even if you've submitted something that's been approved in the past, it doesn't necessarily mean it was done correctly, so please re-read the guidelines every now and then. Over 95% of what is in the queue right now doesn't even come close to matching what the volunteers look for, which is a bit pathetic considering there are close to 150,000 go-bys. If people want the queue cleared out on a daily basis, I can do that, but it would involve rejecting the vast majority of what's submitted to this site and I don't think anyone (including the people approving the art) wants this. Heck I can reject most entries right now based on not following the naming convention alone! The time lag is due mostly to verifying an entry is not a duplicate, changing/adding information to match the EB standards, and cropping pictures.
