portal change?

Rather than bookmark the home page of EB, I go directly to my portal. Is there a way to customize what is shown? For instance, I'd rather see the Award Winner than Saved Searches. Is this possible?

Not currently, but it is a really good idea.
I like this idea too, as I have only been using the portal instead of the homepage, but never see the weekly winner, or the EB12 ad. Not so concerned w/ the ad as Im sure when its "news" it will be posted in the news section that is visible from the portal.
