Anyone else notice that EB is really slow lately? To me it has gradually slowed down over the last year, but now it's crawling even when there are fewer than 15 people accessing it.
Is there some system problem--I/O overload? Server host restricting bandwidth? Maybe amount of content has outpaced the server?
Are we on the same servers as WikiLeaks was and we're collateral damage?
I ask because it took nearly 60 seconds to display the page to create this topic.
Mods, technical wizards, is there anything that is being done? Is there anything we the users can do to help?
[EDIT: Took two tries just to post this question because the first try timed out]

I've noticed the same thing over the past six months - I experience it both at work and home.
Maybe it's time for a capital campaign to speed up performance.

It's probably related to there being 100 or so people on here all the time now. The site wasn't really designed for such an intense amount of traffic.
