EB reaaaaally slow lately

I'm using FF...all is fine here getting into the DB or viewing pics. I tried it with IE too...no probs there either. H-m-m-m...any recent browser updates? Addon downloads?

Chrome. Right now it's zipping through everything. Its only when the users online get around a hundred I have issues.

I still cant access anything with a www.expressobeans.com/??? address .. (forums are forum.expressobeans.com) I have IE8 with no addons .. and I use FF with no new add ons .. this started yesterday evening and I thought EB was down .. and I went through a google search straight to the forums today and everything seemed alright until I open a thread with pics from the EB DB or if I try to go to "My Page" or any other DB page I get the no page to display error .. Ive cleared all cookies and cache and I flushed my DNS .. but still no change ..

Also just tried FF (safe mode) and no go on anything except the forums ...

just tried again on my server .. I had never logged into EB from there before and its running ie6 and theres ntohing at all installed on that .. it still came up with the initial runonce screen .. and when I tried to goto "my page" I still got the no page to display error ..

So both IE8 and FF has this same issue? H-m-m...usually if it's a browser issue it wouldn't occur in both. I know a few peeps have had issues with the site using IE8. The only thing I can recommend that you try is to create a clean Firefox profile and come back to the site and see if there's any change in browser performance. The fact that it affects two browsers in your case is a stumper. Could just be a coincidence.

If you want me to check any of my browser settings...let me know. We can compare if there's a need. I'm on Firefox/3.6.2 and IE7.

OK .. So Ive tried ..
FireFox 3.6.13
FireFox 3.6.13 (Safe Mode)
FireFox 3.6.13 (New User Profile)
IE 8.0.7600
IE 6 (from my Server via RDP)
Google Chrome 9.0.597

And each one times out trying to reach the EB server or just says cant find page

Damn. It's possible that the .com has (somehow) been added in your host file. Some malware scan programs will do weird crap like that.

Wouldn't hurt to take a look at your host file. If you're using Win7 or Vista you'll have to right-click on the Notepad button and "run as administrator" to get access to the file.

No go .. My host file is clean ..

Also that wouldnt explain why the two other machines that I remote into do the same thing :-/

OK .. Now Im on FF 4 Beta .. and still the same thing .. I have now gotten on a totally different laptop and still the same thing on FF 3.something too ..

Now Im really confused ...

I just remoted into a computer thats not in my house and I can pull up everything just fine .. But not from my own computer(s)

and its not a browser or settings issue .. I cant even ping expressobeans.com .. But i can forum.expressbeans.com ..

Short of my ISP blocking expressobeans.com I dont see what else could be causing this ...
