I can't find the print I put up! It was my first time so I may have made some mistakes- but it was over a week ago!
I believe I entered it as country Johannsen 12.
Any thoughts?

I tried to add these two posters: http://www.expressobeans.com/public/detail.php/146077 and http://www.expressobeans.com/public/detail.php/146078
However, they are not listed under Jason Wilson with the other posters. Did I add them incorrectly?

Those are all listed as other editions of http://www.expressobeans.com/public/detail.php/146020 (first printing edition and chipboard edition). You will not see all three images when you search by artist (http://www.expressobeans.com/public/sea ... tist=10189) because the system only displays the initial art added and not all of the "variants" associated with it. In this case, it was the OG that was added first.
Edit - something else to note, is that all three versions WILL show up in your collection/trade/iso pages if you add them individually. Just not in search results.
Great words won't cover ugly actions; good frames won't save bad paintings...
Regarding adding art vs. adding images, if it is a concert poster, and the venue is different than any of the existing listings, would you rank that as elligible for the adding art catagory, or would you simply add it to the exiting entry with a note about different venue?aahnutz wrote:The ADD ART feature is for new art not already listed in the database. If you have a pic you would like to submit for an existing entry, please use the ADD IMAGE feature under Member Tools. List all pertinent information in the Notes section. Please - do not create a new title. Enter the title that is already in use for that listing. If it is a new variant or class, a team member will create a new printing for it while approving your pic. Complying with this request should speed up the approval process for your image submissions as well as shorten the list of new art to be approved. Thank you.
Thanks.
If it's a tour blank with the venue written in by hand, that is best handled by adding an image.
If it's something where the venue is actually screened into the print (example - http://expressobeans.com/public/search. ... available= ) that would be new art.
hope this helps.

No need to resubmit anything - it just takes a while sometimes. If things are submitted per the EB standards shown here
http://expressobeans.com/wiki/index.php ... s_database
it will definitely help speed things up. Otherwise, things sometimes get lost in the weeds.

I see them in there and hope to get to them in the next day or two. Watch the titles and venues as they weren't exactly on the right formatSmoke1 wrote:OK cool. Thats the way I submitted them one week ago today. I've got a couple other posters to add too, but I wanted to make sure I did it correctly the first attempt.

and remember artists and performers go last name first.
Thanks!

I'm new at this and don't want to do anything inappropriate when submitting new images.
This is one of the images I added this morning. I used ps to "correct camera distortion" because it was taken at an angle - I only straighted it horizontally.
This is the original shot (pre-correction). It's okay that I submitted an image that was "corrected", right? Just to be clear - this was the only change made. Should I have just left it alone and submitted w/o correction? I'm sure I'm over-thinking this.

I've done that quite a bit myself. I think it's ok.IWish wrote:I'm new at this and don't want to do anything inappropriate when submitting new images.
