EB points

I looked around and couldn't find out any information about these this.

What are they used for .. how do you obtain more? Are they just for show or something?

the closest thing to an explanation of EB points is in the Wiki here:

we should probably update that and/or feature it in the FAQ...hmmm it's a Wiki, anyone can do it!
