Just a heads-up to my fellow EB'ers. Do not deal with wca0288 on eBay. He bid on 7 of my items, won 5 of them and refuses to pay. Sadly, due to eBay's policies he did have prior feedback stating that he doesn't pay, but that seller was forced to post positive feedback because even if your burned they won't let you post a negative. Unreal. Just be aware!

Sorry to hear. So what's this bidder's end game pulling this fudge?

Thanks. I wish I knew. He simply refuses to respond to any of my emails. I turned it over to eBay at this point. Amazing that somebody would do that.

Be sure to report him and recover your listing and final value fees.

Ebay has a three strikes policy for those who don't pay up. After three times they are reported and seller is refunded fees, they are kicked off Ebay.

Thanx. eBay has been notified in the strongest possible way by me. They asked me to give him 4 days after they report the non-payment. Negative feedbacks will be placed, but unfortunately it has to be done under 'positive", but I will post it demonstratively in all caps for future sellers to see. Let's see if eBay honors it's policy of de-registering him after 5 strikes from me & two others within the last year.

UPDATE: Just got paid! I will reluctantly thank eBay for bearing down on the buyer with the threat of 5 unpaid item strikes! Took 9 days, but it's over.....

Set unpaid item assistant, block and move on. As to why people do this, see sig.

Until he opens some kind of paypal case against you. Make sure you do tracking and signature required to cover all bases.

I wanna say he’s won a couple of my auctions in the past year or so, and he took a while to pay each time but i eventually received payment.

Ebay is not friendly to sellers at all. I can't believe they give five strikes in a year now for this ish and no negative feedback.

Yeah, like Codeblue said, block him so he cannot bid on your items in the future. Also, set your preferences so that anyone who has a strike for non-payment cannot bid on your items.

Glad you got your fees back though.
