It's worth a shot, and really, at this point, it's his only recourse, as far as I can tell.
So it goes...

Yup, seems the print was the reason the cops went to the house.

Yes, have you alerted the USPS for tampered mail? You must have insured the package???

I got a, "the tube came with one end missing and the print was gone" guy. He pried the crimped on metal end cap off, after he cut the middle tapped section (to remove the print). He re-tapped it with different tape, I had pics. Ebay sent me an email saying something to the effect of "YOU WON THE CASE" later behind the scenes ebay deducted the cost of the print from my paypal, I guess they gave it to the fraudulent ebayer. I found out as I was looking through the statement. Good bunch of thieves over at Ebay.

Thanks for the info guys. His handle is 'thebigkaboom'. I have no idea why ebay disclosed to me that he has opened multiple paypal claims, but they did. I did insure the package, but I cannot file a claim because one was already filed against me. Looks like I'll be contacting his local sheriff as my last recourse. Mods, am I allowed to post his name and personal info?

Committing insurance fraud against a major (private) corporation is a different animal.

Sounds like ya lost a paypal claim and just didn't realize it.

When me and few others here got chico'd, the evidence was overwhelming against him. eBay still sided with him. I talked to everyone at ebay i could for days and days to no avail. Finally I just said drymount it and threatened to file police reports, I got my money back pretty quick. It might have just been an anomaly but that fudge worked when nothing else would.
